Why we need your support

We’re taking part in Midnight Madness London – one of the toughest intellectual challenges around.

Starting on the evening of Saturday 16 May and finishing as the sun rises, we’ll be battling it out against other teams in a race across London, solving mind-bendingly difficult puzzles, all wrapped up in an immersive storyline.

We can handle the puzzles, but this is where we need your help.

We’re raising money on behalf of Raise Your Hands – an incredible organisation that amplifies the impact that small charities have on the lives of children and young people across the UK. Their portfolio of exceptional charities is making a real difference to young lives every day.

Together, we can give more children the chance to thrive, no matter the challenges they face.

Donating Over £1,000?

Avoid merchant fees and card processing fees by donating via bank transfer, so that 100% of your donation goes to the charity.

Name:  Raise Your Hands
Sort Code:   20-31-52
Account No:   23913813
Reference:  Team Name

We manually attribute all non-card donations to your team – so your donation will be reflected in the team total, usually within a few hours.

Alternatively, choose a card with low fees. As a general rule, debit is better than credit, Visa/Mastercard is better than AmEx and standard is better than premium.

Or why not donate Stocks & Shares?

This can be an incredibly tax-efficient method of donating – please email [email protected] for more details.

FAQs

What is Raise Your Hands? Where does my money go?

Raise Your Hands is a UK-registered charity (Charity No. 1174956) and the organisation behind Midnight Madness.

We exist to amplify the impact that exceptional small charities have on the lives of children and young people. We support a portfolio of UK organisations that each have a proven high impact on young lives, working across areas such as mental health, education, family crisis and illness. Each partner charity is rigorously vetted to ensure it delivers meaningful impact.

By funding our work, you’ll help ensure that children and young people have the support they need to thrive and go on to build happy, fulfilling lives. Learn more at raiseyourhands.org.uk.

What is Midnight Madness? Can my company participate?

Midnight Madness is London’s most exclusive puzzle hunt. Teams of six race across the city overnight solving immersive story-driven puzzles. Like an elite sport for the brain – players test their intellect, teamwork, creativity and resilience.

More importantly, Midnight Madness is an unique way to  raise funds for charity with donations going to small charity champions – Raise Your Hands

You can find out more about company participation, on our Get Involved page.

PMD donations via GS Gives

If you’re making a donation using your GS Gives account, please be sure to reference the team name and drop us an email on [email protected] so your donation can be added to the relevant page on the Hall of Heroes and be counted towards your team’s total.

Is there a prize for top fundraising team?

Yes there is! The top fundraising team wins the Fundraisers’ Trophy — a unique, one-off prop from that year’s event. (A bespoke cryptex lock box sits proudly on the desk of last year’s winners.)

All verified donations — online or offline — contribute to the Hall of Heroes, a real-time leaderboard where you can track the competition between teams.

The competition closes at 8pm the night before the event but donations are, of course, welcome any time!

How can I keep up to date?

To find out how your team did, visit this page after the event to see content from the night, rankings, and news about future Midnight Madness events.
